Our Pastors
Travis & Brittany Jones
Travis and Brittany Jones have called Richmond home for the past 13 years, where they planted Motivation Church in the South Richmond/North Chesterfield area. Their mission is simple yet powerful: “God can take broken people and build them back together.”
With over 20 years of full-time ministry experience, Travis and Brittany are passionate about building a diverse, energetic, and Jesus-centered church where people from all walks of life can encounter hope and purpose. Their approach to ministry is life-giving, authentic, and full of joy.
Together with their two daughters, Jalynn and Jayda, they love serving the local church, hosting family game nights, and soaking up sunshine whenever they can. Whether on the platform or in everyday life, the Jones family is committed to helping others discover the life God created them to live.

We provide an inviting atmosphere where everyone is welcome. Our services are a little over an hour long. They're filled with powerful worship, practical teachings that will help grow your faith in God, and a community of people that want to do life with you.
We welcome you to come as you are. Whether you prefer to dress up or dress down, we encourage you to wear what you feel comfortable in.
At Motivation, we are committed to making sure that your first visit is enjoyable and stress-free. We won't single you out, make you stand up, or pressure you for money. We want you to explore at your own pace and decide if Motivation Church is the right fit for you. Feel free to stop by the big tent in front of our building to ask questions and receive a free gift.
We know that your children are a big priority. We aim to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment for them. That's why we offer Motivation Kids, church catered for children from birth to 5th grade. Our dedicated team of volunteers is committed to making sure that your children have a positive and meaningful experience each time they join us. Whether through engaging games, interactive Bible lessons, or creative crafts, we strive to make learning about God fun and memorable for kids of all ages. All of our volunteers undergo background checks and receive comprehensive training in child safety and protection.
Getting connected at our church is easy! One way to start is by attending our Engage Class, held every second and third Sunday of the month after our 11:30 service. This is your opportunity to learn everything about Motivation Church in a fun atmosphere. Another option is to join a Small Group where you can connect with other people and grow in your faith. We also have awesome events throughout the year that you can attend and be a part of. Lastly, you can always reach out to one of our pastors or team members who would love to help you find your place at our church.
